A fugitive young woman found half-dead in the forest is adopted into a women’s commune. But who is she and who are the strange men looking for her?

A young woman is found in a forest barely alive and covered in blood. The women who find her adopt her into their commune, an all-female community, living an alternative pagan existence in a forest in South Wales. The woman has little English, but her physical and mental wounds speak of a life of abuse. Suspecting she has been trafficked, the women promise her protection. She forms close bonds with members of the group as she recovers, and begins an intimate relationship with Leah the teenaged girl who found her, confessing to her that she has killed her husband. Her confession like the wounds she carries remain a secret, until the community find their lives disturbed by two men, one claiming to be her husband and demanding her return.
