The arrival of a stranger in a Bosnian village arouses suspicion and fear amongst the locals. Josip is looking for someone. With him is a young boy. In a hotel, Lejla, anxiously awaits their return. As his search closes in Josip sets out to confront the man he is looking for.

Set in post-war Bosnia, LIKE FATHER explores the cyclical nature of fear, hatred and revenge.
